I have been a jeweller since 1986, when I was apprenticed to an Indian jewellers based in the UK. Since then I have explored many different techniques, ancient and modern, and studied with many masters of the craft.

Every piece tells a story
I am fascinated by the unique qualities of precious metals and gemstones, and the scientific alchemy by which they are transformed into objects of beauty.

But what inspires me most is combining old skills and exquisite materials to create jewellery with meaning. I try to capture the essence of a particular time, place, a feeling, a natural phenomenon… even a building. If it’s a commission, the meaning might only be known by the wearer, or the giver and wearer.

Working in this way gives each piece a timelessness that you can’t buy off the shelf.
